Automotive paint booths, most commonly known as spray booths, are pressure-controlled and closed environments that are used to paint vehicles from the smallest cars to the largest trucks.

These booths can be found in most body shops these days and are usually fitted with different ventilation systems and motors to ensure an even paint job and to maintain a stable temperature and aid in reducing humidity levels in some instances.

The most important advantage of a high quality automotive paint booth is that it delivers exceptional car spray painting results. In it’s specialised design and it’s auxiliary controls, our car spray painting technicians have better control of the automotive paint booth’s environment.

Gas Infrared is the process of using fuel over flames to generate an exothermic reaction. The temperature involved in this process is lower than that of flame combustion, and therefore eliminates the risks of igniting explosive vapours from solvent based car paint coatings. 

At Parramatta Smash Repairs, we provide infrared tube heaters as an effective solution over forced air heaters to reduce dynamic air movement. This is particularly an issue when there are dust particles in the air.
